Spain here I come! | summer outfits

Woo! Its official, I'm going to spain in July! And I have nothing to wear.... so these next few weeks I will be making outfits for this summer and for spain.
I bought some fabrics and trims to make something amazing!! I cannot wait

Project: White lace dress

This dress was one of the hardest challenges that I had to face but I did it.

I didn't have the time to put extra flowers on the dress but it still looks good.

The kitchen party dresses

My friends Mwansa and Maiwase needed dresses for a kitchen party (bridal shower)
They bought simple black dresses and I incorporated some african material into them
I didnt think that they would turn out so good.

Peplum alteration

So hard to get a picture of this girl but I got it
This used to be a body con dress that was too short so we made it into a peplum, I also added some of the excess material to the sides. What do you think?

My shorts are too big!!

A good friend of mine bought some shorts that were way too big for her. I had to take them in a lot for them to fit properly; I had to close some of the pleats as well. She wanted them shorter so I chopped and hemmed the bottom too. Here they are!! I absolutely loved the way she styled it

Leather sleeves

A friend of mine asked me to revamp her old fur coat and her old leather jacket. So two broken needles later we created these 2 new jackets.

I love DIY

Over the past few months I have been obsessed with DIY videos on YouTube and frequently people have been giving me sewing jobs to do.
Whether it is adjusting clothes or taking things apart and putting them on something else.

What am I doing with my life?!?!?

I have now realised that I need to get my life sorted out and start blogging, start working and selling my designs!! I feel like I should have accomplished something by now, I mean, I am 20 years old now!!
